How do I combine images into one?+
Drop two or more images into the tool above. They're joined side by side straight away, and the preview shows the exact file you'll download. Change the layout, the order, the gap and the background until it looks right, then click Download combined image. You can combine up to 20 images and save the result as PNG, JPG or WebP.
How do I merge images side by side?+
Keep the layout on Side by side and Size on Match. Every image is scaled to the height of the shortest one, so they line up top and bottom, and nothing is enlarged. Use the arrows under each thumbnail to change the order, and add a gap if you want space between them, for example for a before-and-after comparison.
How do I put photos in a grid?+
Choose Grid and pick 2, 3, 4 or 5 columns. With Match, every cell is the size of the smallest image and each photo is fitted inside it; with Original, each column is as wide as its widest photo. Add a gap and a background colour to turn the grid into a simple collage.
Will combining my images make them blurry?+
No. Match only ever scales images down, to the size of the smallest one, using high-quality step-by-step scaling, so nothing is enlarged and stretched. Original keeps every image at its full size. Saving as PNG keeps every pixel; JPG and WebP compress the result, at quality 90 by default.
How do I add space between the images?+
Drag the Gap slider, from 0 to 100 pixels. The gap is transparent in PNG and WebP, or you can choose Colour under Background and pick any color, such as white for a clean border look. In JPG, which has no transparency, gaps and empty space are white unless you pick another colour.
How do I make a combined image fit a YouTube thumbnail?+
Combine your images first, then drop the result into the YouTube thumbnail resizer, which crops and resizes it to the 16:9 thumbnail size. For two images side by side, each roughly square, the combined image is already close to 16:9, so very little is cropped.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?+
No. Combining images runs entirely in your browser, so your images never leave your device and are never sent to a server. Joining, scaling and saving all happen locally on your computer or phone. You can check this yourself: open your browser's network tab while you combine, and you'll see that no image data is sent anywhere.
