ImgWrench is a free Twitch banner resizer: drop in an image and get a 1200×480 profile banner, the size Twitch recommends, checked against its 10MB limit. Want your Discord banner to match? Export a 680×240 copy from the same upload.
How to resize a Twitch banner
- Drop your image into the tool above.
- If it isn't 5:2, choose Cover to fill the frame or Crop to pick the area yourself.
- Keep the important parts toward the left of the frame.
- Download your banner, or everything as a ZIP.
Uploading to Twitch
Open the Creator Dashboard from your profile icon, go to Settings, then Channel, and select the Brand tab. Under Profile Banner, click Update and choose your image.
Design tips
- Concentrate the art on the left. Twitch scales the banner to each viewer's window, so the left side is the part every viewer sees the same way.
- Start wide. Wider windows stretch the banner, so begin with a large source image to keep detail.
- Keep text short. A name or a schedule line reads better than a paragraph.
Why ImgWrench
- The size Twitch recommends. 1200×480, cropped once, no guessing.
- One upload, two platforms. Add a matching Discord profile banner if you want one.
- Private by design. Your images never leave your device.
