ImgWrench is a free Twitch profile picture resizer: drop in a photo or GIF, crop it square, and download a 256×256 image, the size Twitch lists, checked against its 10MB limit. Need a matching Discord avatar? Export one from the same upload.
How to make a Twitch profile picture
- Drop your image into the tool above.
- If it isn't square, choose Cover to fill the frame or Crop to pick the area yourself.
- Check the preview, keeping in mind that Twitch shows profile pictures in a circle.
- Download your profile picture.
Uploading to Twitch
Open the Creator Dashboard from your profile icon, go to Settings, then Channel, and select the Brand tab. Under Profile Picture, click Add Profile Picture and choose your image.
Design tips
- Centre the subject. The circle hides the corners, so anything near the edges gets cut.
- Go bold. Your picture is often shown small next to your channel name; strong shapes and contrast stay recognisable.
- Match your banner. Using the same colours as your profile banner makes your channel look put together.
Why ImgWrench
- The size Twitch lists. 256×256, cropped once, no guessing.
- One upload, two platforms. Add a matching Discord avatar if you want one.
- Private by design. Your photo never leaves your device.
