ImgWrench is a free Twitch panel resizer: drop in your panel images and get each one at 320px wide, the width Twitch asks for, with its height kept up to 600px and checked against the 1MB limit. Drop a whole set at once and download them together as a ZIP.

How to resize Twitch panels

  1. Drop all your panel images into the tool above.
  2. Each panel is resized to 320px wide and keeps its own height.
  3. If a panel is taller than 600px, choose Contain, Cover or Crop.
  4. Download single panels, or the whole set as a ZIP.

Adding panels to Twitch

Go to your channel page and switch Edit Panels on, just under the video player. When you're offline, you'll find the panels in your channel's About section. Click the + to add a panel, then give it a title, an image, an optional image link and a description. Click Submit to save, and drag panels to put them in order.

Design tips

  • Design at 320px wide. Panels never show wider, so small text that looks fine in your editor may be hard to read on the page.
  • Use the image link. Each panel can link somewhere: your socials, a tip page, your schedule.
  • Keep a set consistent. The same colours, font and header height make your panels read as one design.

Why ImgWrench

  • The width Twitch asks for. Every panel comes out 320px wide, with its height kept.
  • A full set in one go. Batch up to 20 panels and download one ZIP.
  • Private by design. Your images never leave your device.

Frequently asked questions

What size are Twitch panels?

Twitch asks for panel images no larger than 320px wide and 600px high, under 1MB. Bigger images are resized down automatically. ImgWrench exports every panel at 320px wide and keeps its height, up to 600px.

Do all my panels need the same height?

No. Each panel keeps its own height, so a short header and a tall schedule can sit side by side. ImgWrench works out the height from each image's shape.

My panel is taller than 600px. What happens?

Choose Contain to fit the whole image with transparent space at the sides, Cover to trim the top and bottom, or Crop to pick the exact part yourself. The panel comes out at 320×600.

What file types can I use?

Twitch's panel help doesn't list formats. ImgWrench exports PNG, JPG or GIF, the formats Twitch accepts for profile pictures and banners. Drop a GIF in and the animation and timing are kept.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser. Your images are never sent to a server, and you can confirm this in your browser's network tab.
