ImgWrench is a free Kick banner resizer: drop in an image and get a channel banner at 1280×700, the minimum Kick asks for, plus a 2560×1400 copy that stays sharp on large screens. Both are checked against Kick's 4MB limit.

How to make a Kick banner

  1. Drop your image into the tool above.
  2. If it isn't Kick's shape, choose Cover to fill the frame or Crop to pick the area yourself.
  3. Pick PNG for sharp text and flat colours, or JPG for photos.
  4. Download the size you want, or both as a ZIP.

Uploading your banner to Kick

Click your avatar in the top right, open your account settings and go to the profile section. Select Edit Banner Image, upload your file and select Confirm.

Design tips

  • Keep the middle busy, the edges quiet. Kick says banners may be cropped on different devices, and it doesn't publish a safe area.
  • Go big on text. Your channel name should still read when the banner is shown small on a phone.
  • Use PNG for logos and text. JPG can blur sharp edges; save it for photos.

Why ImgWrench

  • Kick's exact shape. 1280×700, and a double-size copy.
  • Checked against the limit. Every file is checked against 4MB.
  • Private by design. Your art never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize an image for a Kick banner?

Drop your image into the tool above. If it isn't Kick's shape, choose Cover to fill the frame or Crop to pick the area yourself. Pick PNG for sharp text and flat colours, or JPG for photos, then download 1280×700, the 2560×1400 copy, or both as a ZIP. Upload it in your profile settings with Edit Banner Image.

What size is a Kick banner?

Kick asks for at least 1280×700 pixels, in JPG or PNG up to 4MB. ImgWrench exports 1280×700 and a 2560×1400 copy, our own addition, for sharp, large screens. Both are checked against the 4MB limit. Make your channel name big enough to read when the banner is shown small on a phone.

Why does my Kick banner get cut off?

Kick's branding guide says banners may be cropped on different devices, and Kick doesn't publish a safe area. Keep text and faces away from the edges and put the important part in the middle. Use Crop in the tool to place your subject exactly, and use PNG for logos and text, since JPG can blur sharp edges.

Can a Kick banner be a GIF?

Kick lists only JPG, JPEG and PNG for banners, so ImgWrench exports still PNG or JPG. Pick PNG for sharp text, logos and flat colours, or JPG for photos. Both are checked against Kick's 4MB limit, and every file shows its size before you download it.

Is the Kick banner the same as the offline banner?

No. The channel banner sits at the top of your channel page, at 1280×700. The offline banner fills the video player while you're not live, at 1920×1080, and is uploaded separately. Use the Kick offline banner resizer to make that one from the same art.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser: ImgWrench resizes your images on your own device, and they are never sent to a server or stored anywhere else. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's network tab while you use the tool and checking that no request carries your image data.
