ImgWrench is a free Kick profile picture resizer: drop in a photo, crop it square, and download a 512×512 avatar in PNG or JPG. Kick only states a 128×128 minimum and a 4MB limit, so we chose a size four times bigger that stays sharp everywhere.

How to make a Kick profile picture

  1. Drop your photo into the tool above.
  2. If it isn't square, choose Contain, Cover or Crop.
  3. Pick PNG for logos and flat art, or JPG for photos.
  4. Download your profile picture.

Uploading it to Kick

Click your avatar in the top right, open your account settings and go to the profile section. Select Edit Avatar, upload your image and select Confirm.

Tips for a Kick avatar

  • Make it work small. Kick's branding guide notes your avatar appears in chat and on browse pages, often tiny.
  • Centre the subject. A face or logo in the middle survives any crop.
  • Use strong contrast. Busy backgrounds blur together at small sizes.

Why ImgWrench

  • Sharp at every size. 512×512 from any photo.
  • Checked against the limit. Every file is checked against 4MB.
  • Private by design. Your photos never leave your device.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize a photo for a Kick profile picture?

Drop your photo into the tool above. If it isn't square, choose Contain, Cover or Crop. Pick PNG for logos and flat art, or JPG for photos, then download your 512×512 profile picture. On Kick, click your avatar in the top right, open your account settings, go to the profile section and select Edit Avatar.

What size is a Kick profile picture?

Kick only gives a minimum: 128×128 pixels, in JPG or PNG up to 4MB. ImgWrench exports 512×512, our own pick at four times that, so your avatar stays sharp wherever it's shown. Kick's branding guide notes your avatar appears in chat and on browse pages, often tiny, so strong contrast helps.

Can my Kick profile picture be a GIF?

Kick lists JPG, JPEG and PNG for avatars, so ImgWrench exports still PNG or JPG. Choose PNG for logos and flat art, where it keeps edges crisp, or JPG for photos. Both are checked against Kick's 4MB limit, and every file shows its size before you download it.

My photo isn't square. What happens?

Choose Cover to fill the square and trim the edges, Contain to fit the whole image with padding, or Crop to pick the exact area yourself. For a face or logo, Crop usually works best: put the subject in the middle of the square so it survives any crop, and leave a little room around it.

How do I make a round Kick profile picture?

Choose Circle under Shape and everything outside the circle becomes transparent in PNG files, or white in JPG. Kick's help center doesn't say whether avatars are shown as circles, so for Kick itself the square version is the safe choice, with your face or logo in the middle. The round one is for overlays, websites and slides.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser: ImgWrench resizes your photo on your own device, and it is never sent to a server or stored anywhere else. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's network tab while you use the tool and checking that no request carries your image data.
